Acer palmatum 'Beni otake' is a wonderful cultivar with long thin purple leaves and a distinctive overall layered appearance. The leaves retain their purple coloration throughout the season before turning a bright crimson in the autumn. It has a fairly upright habit and could reach 3 metres in 10 years. |
