Acer palmatum 'Ichigyoji' is a very similar maple in habit to 'Osakazuki' but with thinner textured green foliage. It is very rare in cultivation and difficult to find.. The autumn colour differs to 'Osakazuki's scarlet red, instead being a bright yellow softly suffused with orange. Fairly vigorous grower reaching around 3 or 4 metres if allowed. |
