Acer palmatum Linearilobum  
Acer palmatum 'Linearilobum' has deeply divided linear foliage, with the leaves on the older wood being very fine indeed. The leaves are a bronzy-green in spring turning to a glowing yellow for the autumn. A very pretty, densely branched and medium sized tree - recommended.
    Position? full sun to part shade; sheltered site preferred out of strong winds
    Soil? all soils, but avoid waterlogged areas; very dry soils will need extra watering
    Eventual size? 3 to 4 metres, but can be pruned
    Habit? deciduous; open, vase-like habit and narrow foliage
