Acer palmatum dissectum 'Filigree' is one of the best green dissectums which holds its light-green colour well throughout most of the season, soon turning to a mass of yellows for the autumn. This makes an excellent conatiner plant and is best sited in semi-shade to avoid scorch from the intense mid-summer sun. A mature plant has a very striking domed look. Suitable for the smaller garden and works well next to ponds and on rockeries where you can admire the tumbling foliage. |
