Borinda boliana is a very rare and sought after hardy bamboo. It requires a sheltered, partly shady position to thrive and good, rich soil. The new canes appear covered in a blue-grey bloom, before fading through violet and maturing to purple. The thin green leaves give this a bamboo a spectacular appearance. Clump-forming and stunning.
