Cedrus atlantica 'Glauca' instantly recognisable large tree often seen in parks and stately homes. This magnificent tree from the chilly Atlas mountains in Morocco makes a wonderful specimen stand alone feature for any large garden.

Best planted in a sunny open position where it will grow slowly to be admired for generations to come.

I've seen this tree in the wild growing in an open forest where it looks stunning, why not plant a group if you have space for spectacular effect. RHS Award of Garden Merit.
    Position? open sunny spot
    Soil? all soils, but avoid waterlogged areas
    Eventual size? up to 20 metres, but can be pruned
    Habit? slow growing, evergreen with open architectural habit
