Clematis armandii, Evergreen Clematis originates from China and is a vigorous evergreen climber with saucer-shaped, lightly scented white flowers, with cream anthers. These flowers are produced in abundance from March until May. The flowers are set off beautifully against the dark green foliage. It is best planted on a sunny wall or fence where it can be admired the whole year round.
    Position? full sun to half shade;
    Soil? all soils, but avoid waterlogged areas; very dry soils will need extra watering
    Eventual size? up to 5 metres, but can be pruned
    Habit? fast growing, evergreen climber, needs wires or trellis for support
