Ginkgo biloba 'Autumn Gold'  
Ginkgo biloba 'Autumn Gold' is a stunning vigorous Ginkgo tree which develops into a medium sized specimen and when young can produce shoots up to one metre long clothed in delicate butterfly-like leaves. As the name suggests the leaves turn a rich gold colour in autumn and remain on the branches longer than most other Ginkgos.
    Position? full sun to full shade; out of cold, drying winds - especially coastal winds
    Soil? all soils, but avoid waterlogged areas; very dry soils will need extra watering
    Eventual size? 8 to 10 metres, but can be pruned
    Habit? deciduous; dark green leaves turning yellow before falling
    Suitable for? planting as a specimen tree
