Ginkgo biloba Chi Chi  
Ginkgo biloba 'Chi Chi' is a rare dwarf Ginkgo which forms a choice rounded multi-stemmed shrub making it a fabulous container plant for the connoisseur. The name 'Chi Chi' roughly translates to 'breast' the name given to protrusions which can form on the stems from which leaves can sprout hence this plant is sometimes called 'Tit'!
    Position? full sun to full shade; out of cold, drying winds - especially coastal winds
    Soil? all soils, but avoid waterlogged areas; very dry soils will need extra watering
    Eventual size? 2 - 3 metres, but can be pruned
    Habit? deciduous; dark green leaves turning yellow before falling
    Suitable for? growing as a container plant on a patio or planting in open ground
