Ginkgo biloba Troll  
Ginkgo biloba 'Troll' is a lovely form of the Ginkgo biloba with compact, bushy growth. Ideal as a container plant on the patio where after several years it will form a stunning leafy specimen tree that is not too large. Ideal if you would like a Ginkgo but do not have very much space - and much better behaved than a real life Troll as well!

   Position? full sun to full shade; out of cold, drying winds - especially coastal winds
  Soil? all soils, but avoid waterlogged areas; very dry soils will need extra watering
    Eventual size? up to 1 metre
    Habit? deciduous, very compact and bushy; dark green leaves turning yellow before falling
    Suitable for? growing as a container plant - looks great in a pot
