Liquidambar styraciflua 'Worplesdon' is simply one of the best trees you can grow for outstanding autumn colour. The leaves are a very similar shape to a maple and are a dark green throughout the summer; once the first few frosts have been the green starts to turn to purples, reds and oranges. Happy in most soils and situations, this is a very rewarding tree. |
