olive tree  

This size of olive tree is very stocky and has a nice chunky trunk. The crown is dense and bushy and well-branched showing maturity.

They are approximately 180 to 200cm tall and the girth is about 16/18cm.

 

 
    Position? full sun to dappled shade; tolerant of wind and salt
    Soil? all soils, but avoid waterlogged areas; drought tolerant once established
    Eventual size? up to 3 metres in height, but easily pruned to any size
    Habit? small, evergreen tree with grey-green leaves and a trunk full of character with age
