'Bronze Baby'

Phormium tenax 'Bronze Baby', the New Zealand Flax has long, dark purple foliage which forms a frothy mound of structural foliage. The eventual height is around 1.2 to 1.5 metres, with a similar spread. It makes an excellent container plant and a good companion to a large specimen plant such as an olive tree or palm tree.

 sunny position, all free-draining soils

 spiky and architectural shape
