Hart's Tongue Fern. A super hardy British-native fern often seen growing alongside hegderows and forest edges. 'Angustifolia' produces long strap like evergreen leaves that differ from the species by having frilly ruffled edges to the fronds. The bright, glossy green, often waved frilly edged fronds can be heart-shaped at the base. Asplenium scolopendrium 'Angustifolia' is a superb fern where year round effect is needed and looks good planted with other ferns as a constrast to the typical fern leaf. Can tolerate drier conditions where it grows well planted next to Polystichum setiferum.
Height 45-70cm. Spread 60cm. Plant in semi/full shade, moist fertile soil.
