Description Plant Care Q & A Suggested Sundries Description

Aucuba japonica Crotonifolia 'Goldstrike', Japanese Spotted Laurel is a very hardy, large shrub from Japan. It is tolerant of shady positions due to its native woodland habitat. Glorious, glossy green and yellow leaves, with red berries in the autumn. It would make an excellent container plant or a very good back of the border plant. It works very well as a structural specimen and makes an ideal background to show off other plants. Very hardy and adaptable plant much loved by the Victorians.
