Profuse clusters of deep blue flowers emerge from reddish, purple buds in April/May, creating a spectacular sight. Concha makes a dense, bushy evergreen shrub with glossy, small dark green leaves on arching branches. Loved by bees and insects, grows well in a sunny south or west spacing spot away from Northerly winds. Grows well in coastal gardens. Eventual height up to 2.5m.
