A beautiful, rare form of cornus, this sought after shrub has attractive horizontally tiered branches giving it a most striking ‘layered’ habit. The leaves have a silvery variegation and the clusters of white flowers sit upright amongst the foliage in summer adding to the delicate display. Eventual height 3m, slow growing.
- Common Names: Silver pagoda dogwood
Plant with good compost in neutral to alkaline soils in full sun/part-shade away from cold north wind. Encourage a leader stem by canning from which tiered branches can grow. Remove extra ‘leaders’ if necessary.
