Azalea japonica 'Beethoven'
A stunning new variety of Japanese Azalea producing bold, deep-pink-puple flowers which smothier the plant during May. The small, glossy dark-green leaves provide year-round interest. A beautiful compact addition to small gardens and excellent in containers, reaching a maximum of 80cm. As with all Azaleas, plant in acidic soil, adding ericaceious compost. Will perform best in partial shade and requires little attention other than a light clip after flowering. Very hardy and very easy to grow.
Plant in full sun / part shade in acidic soil or use ericaceous compost, in pots or containers, keep soil damp but not water logged. Top mulch in spring
