Taxus cuspidata 'Dwarf Bright Gold'
'Dwarf Bright Gold' is an upright to spreading evergreen Japanese Yew with gold-variegated, green, needle-like leaves, can be used as a hedge, screen, topiary or specmen. Can be clipped to shape, suits a variety of garden situations from formal to cottage. Bares red, soft round fruit on Female plants. Excellent for winter structure. Hardy, suitable for well drained soils. CAUTION toxic if eaten.
Plant in well drained soil, adding good peat based compost, water well but then only water when needed, taking care not to allow the soil to become waterlogged. Trim in summer or early autumn. If growing in a pot, top dress with a slow release feed in the spring.
