This new introduction has fantastic deeply cut leaves shaped like ice crystals, turning bright yellow in the autumn. Very architectural and tolerant of coastal conditions. Minute petalless flowers are contained in a hollowed-out receptacle, which enlarges to form edible fruit. Height 3m+. Spread 3m. Fruits from August to September. Deciduous. Hardy.

  • Eventual Size: Up to 4 metres, but can be pruned
