A cross dating to 1955 between V. rhytidophyllum and V. utile, from Prague Municipal Gardens. Has beautiful large heads of pink buds opening to pink white flowerheads, gently fragrant up to 10cm across. Evergreen, waxy, dark green, deeply veined leaves with a wavy edge. Good for screening, specimen or mixed border. Can reach 3m high, prune to keep dense and smaller if desired. Plant in fertile, well drained soil out of cold northerly winds. Hardy.
