Junipers scopulorum ‘Moonglow’ is a relatively new introduction showing outstanding silvery-blue foliage with an upright, neat habit. We are excited to be able to offer this plant. We first discovered it growing at a nursery in Italy where the vibrancy of its blue-grey foliage stood out amongst all the other plants.
Like all Junipers, Junipers scopulorum ‘Moonglow’ is incredible hardy, easy to grow and loves the sun. We recommend planting in an open position and trying to avoid water-logged soils. As with all conifers, add good compost when planting, along with a top dressing of general-purpose fertiliser.
If you wish, ‘Moonglow’ can be clipped, keeping its narrow form along the lines of an Italian Cyprus.
Plant your juniper with a good quality compost in free draining soil in full sun. Mulch each year with organic compost, feeding and pruning not necessary.
