'Rosea' is a pink variety of Magnolia stellata, with pink buds opening into very pretty pale pink star-like flowers giving a beautiful, romantic display in spring. Green ovate leaves open towards the end of flowering to create an attractive shrub/small tree for the summer. Hardy, plant in a sheltered spot in full sun/part shade in fertile, free draining soil.
