This Pittosporum has gold and yellow variegated leaves eventually making a small tree like shrub. Originally from New Zealand where it is tolerant of coastal conditions often used a an unusual bright hedge. Hardy but best suited to southern or urban gardens although able to cope with strong south or west winds it is best protected from cold north and east winds. Happy in most soils and can be grown in a container. Useful in cut flower arrangements. Planting instructions - backfill with a mixture of soil, compost and an appropriate fertiliser.
