A beautiful hardy medium sized shrub with unusual ‘winged’ corkey stems.
Euonymous alatus makes a perfect architectural specimen in the garden with year round interest. During winter the bare branches are a bold feature followed in spring with lush green leaves during summer the small green flowers produce pinkish seed pods and in autumn the leaves turn a stunning scarlet.
Euonymus alatus is happy in most soils and conditions and will tolerate full sun to semi shade.
