Description Plant Care Q & A Description

Originated from Hillier's nurseries in the 1950's, this popular, larger variety of viburnum is semi-evergreen and will reach 3 metres high.  Larger specimens are often evergreen in sheltered positions.  Winton is covered in fragrant, creamy white flowers in June followed by plentiful red berries eventually turning black.  The narrow leaves are copper coloured in the spring turning green and bronze red in the autumn. Easy to grow, tolerates most soils, sun/part shade.  Has a bushy habit with ascending branches. Holds RHS Award of Garden Merit.
