A male evergreen shrub with shiny dark green leaves, margined red. Fragrant white flowers open from dark red buds in spring followed by red fruit. Height 1m Spread 1m. Flower colour white.

Flowers from April to May. Fruit colour Red, fruits from June. 

The most popular of the Skimmia family. An evergreen shrub which can grow to around one meter in height. In autumn and winter attractive red flower buds develop opening into a wonderful scented flower in the spring.These are especially useful for floral decorations all year long and great at Christmas. This plant likes shaded areas but can stand some autumn & and winter sun but does prefer shade during the summer months. 

An ideal plant potted on your patio or equally at home in your garden the Rubella is an evergreen plant you should have in your garden. 

For decoration only, do not consume.
