The David Viburnum. A useful small evergreen shrub. Plant in the middle of your border as a foil for your summer herbaceous flowers. In it's own right it has a compact, domed habit with dark green, leathery leaves with conspicous deep veins. Clusters of white flowers are held above the foliage in May and June. Blue-black berries are produced on cross-pollinated plants after flowering has finished. Hardy to -15c.

  • Soil: moderately fertile, moist, well-drained soil
  • Eventual Size: 1.5m x 1.5m (height/spread)
  • Habit: compact, evergreen shrub
  • Foliage: dark green, deeply veined
