Fargesia murieliae ‘Lava’

Description

Fargesia murieliae ‘Lava’ is a very select form of the well known ‘Umbrella bamboo’ being clump-forming bushy and only growing 120-150cm high bamboo with deep yellow/green canes eventually arching under the weight of bright green narrow leaves forming a cascading mushroom like shape. Happy to grow in either sun or part shade ideally in a fertile moist but free draining soil, add well rotted organic matter when planting for best results. Great for low screening, hedges or as a smaller specimen plant and also good as a container bamboo.
