Description

Pseudosassa metake (japonica) is a remarkable, exotic looking bamboo forming an upright thicket of beautiful olive-green canes which mature to pale cream-gold. The elegant narrow leaves are rich dark-green with silver-grey undersides and a yellow midrib. This is a speedy grower and will establish quickly creating a wonderful effect.

We recommend using bamboo root barrier when planting Pseudosasa. A must have in an exotic garden and for bamboo lovers. Will appreciate fertile well-drained soil in a light location our of severe winds.
