Agave ‘Blue Glow’

Description

Agave ‘Blue Glow’ is a fabulous hybrid Agave originating from southern California.  With a compact habit and striking powder blue-grey leaves, it makes a spectacular sight.  When backlit by the sun, ribbons of gold and yellow line the outer edges of the leaves, glowing beautifully and complementing the leaves perfectly.

A hybrid between Agave attenuata and Agave acahui, being quite compact and smaller growing, usually 30-60cm in diamater we recommend container cultivation and protection from cold and wet in winter.  

Agave ‘Blue Glow’ will tolerate cold down to freezing but I would suggest bringing in to a sheltered location during the colder and wetter months of the year.
