We were instantly drawn to this plant when we saw the name….not sure what that says about us but….!
Astelia x nervosa ‘Son of Red Devil is an awesome variety with wonderfully architectural strap-like metallic red-bronze foliage. Similar in appearance to a dwarf Phormium. Excellent in a container or at the front of a sunny border. Suitable for coastal planting also.
We recommend adding some organic matter when planting. Ensure that the plant doesn’t become waterlogged.
