Mangave ‘Cherry Chococlate’ is a fabulous new addition to our collection. Mangave have become very popular recently and we love ‘Cherry Chocolate’ for its bold architectural structure with fleshy, long deep-green foliage with ‘Cherry Chocolate’ coloured randome freckles. Mangave are a relatively new introduction and a hybrid between Manfreda and Agave.
In terms of hardiness, Mangave can over winter very well in the UK providing they are kept dry and frost free. They are ideal candidates for container growing on a sunny patio or staged in a sunny border, then moved into a frost freee location for the colder months. Treat as you would an Agave and do not allow to become waterlogged.
Bold, architectural and exotic.
