Agapanthus ‘Fireworks’

Description

Agapanthus ‘Fireworks’ is a stunning Agapanthus producing large clusters of globe-like flowers which are wonderfully bi-coloured having deep purple throats and pure white outer petals.

Agapanthus ‘Fireworks’ is also particularly useful as a hardy member of the Agapanthus family being largely deciduous in winter and able to cope with grey Northern Europaean winter climates.

For us, ‘Fireworks’ is planted amongst other Agapanthus where it flowers from mid-summer onwards holding its large flowerheads on stems up to 60cm high.  For best results plant in a sunny position in fertile free-ish draining soil, mulching in the autumn with generous layers of organic matter.
