Description
Sabal minor, commonly known as the ‘Dwarf Palmetto’ is a slow growing palm, which can in its ideal growing conditions, reach a height of 3 metres. It is unlikely to do so in the UK, but can also be a reasonably hardy plant (potentially down to minus 10degC), making it a low maintenance plant in our climate. It prefer a sunny and sheltered position, in moist and well-drained soil.
