Polystichum polyblepharum or Japanese Tassel Fern. An attractive, evergreen fern with shuttlecocks of shiny, dark green fronds. The newly emerging croziers will be covered in scales, and as they develop, fold backwards to create lovely 'tassels'. Eventual height will reach 75cm and spread 90cm. New growth is early so protect against late frosts and protect crowns from winter wet.
