Acer palmatum ‘Fireglow’

Description

A fairly recent introduction with excellent dark red foliage which holds its colour well throughout the summer, turning a wonderful scarlet red for the autumn. The palmate leaf of ‘Fireglow’ is slightly thinner than most cultivars which results in the sun shining through the leaf giving the ‘glow’ referred to in its name. Truely stunning and proving very popular. It is suitable for most soils and will happily grow in a container. Grows in sun/part shade, in a sheltered spot.
