Agapanthus ‘Purple Cloud’

Agapanthus ‘Purple Cloud’ is an impressive member of the agapanthus family with perhaps the deepest purple blue flowers of any other variety. Standing 90-120cm high in full flower ‘Purple Cloud’ is a stately plant, even the flower stem takes on a bluish shade as it matures. Like all agapanthus best planted in full sun position ideally in a free draining but fertile soil. Generally pretty hardy but does best in warmer gardens and may need a little winter protection if you live in a cold spot. Extremely tolerant of coastal conditions and an easy container plant to grow.
