Description

Actiniopteris australis, ‘Eyelash Fern’ is a fabulous minitaure tropical fern from Mauritius forming upright minature fan palm like leaves rarely growing more than 15cm high. Ideally suited to growing as a house plant being especially suited to terrarium growing. A perfect addition to a terrarium collection helping to create a minature cloud forest look with ease. If terrariums aren’t your thing then best suited to a humid warm position on a north or east facing windowsill such as a bathroom or cosy conservatory. Prefers temperatures between 18-25 degrees centigrade in a moisure retentive slightly acidic compost. In spring and summer feed fortnighly with a dilute seaweed or houseplant feed.
