Description
Camellia japonica ‘Dr King’ is a stunning variety producing double deep crimson, double and slightly ruffled cup-shaped flowers. They stand out beautifully against the glossy foliage. Requires moist but free draining soil in a sheltered, semi-shaded position. Can be grown in containers to great effect. Avoid bright morning sun which may scorch the flowers. Can ultimately reach 4m high and 2.5 wide. Prune after flowering to retain shape.
