Description
Polyscias sambucifolia, sometimes known as ‘Elderberry Panax’ is a tactile evergreen shrub/small tree native to Australia but found occasionally in milder gardens here in the UK – Cornwall in particular. It can reach up to 4.5m in height ultimately but requires winter protection for sure. During early summer it may produce small clusters of flowers followed by pale blue-white berries similar to those on an Elderflower.
Position in full sun to partial shade in moisture retentive but free draining soil, in a sheltered position.
