Description
Strobilanthes mastersii is a wonderfully exotic looking variety which may reach up to 1.5m in one season. The foliage is thick and deeply veined with beautiful hints of deep purple on mature leaves and if grown in a sunny position. Although said to be hardy to around minus 5, this is probably a candidate for milder gardens. Plant in fertile, moisture retentive but free draining soil in sun or partial shade. A spectacular addition to your exotic garden!
