Description
Magnolia grandiflora ‘Kay Parris’ is a beautiful compact and upright form ideal for smaller spaces owing to the slender habit. Glossy deep grean elliptic leaves cloth the plant and have delicate ‘wavy’ edges. The underside of the leave is irresistible- deep coppery and fuzzy. During late spring to summer, highly fragrant cup shaped large flowers emerge only adding to the charm. Grow in full sun to partial shade in moisture retentive, slightly acidic soil. Pruning immediately after flowering, if necessary.
