Description

Bistorta amplexicaulis ‘Red Baron’ is a wonderful shade tolerant hardy perennial. It produces dense clumps of deep green almost heart-shaped leaves, which in summer are covered in a multitude of upright spiky flower buds and petals of a deep wine-red colour. A perfect choice for both colour and cover for front of border plantings or even jungly container cultivation.
