Pinus mugo ‘Carsten’s Wintergold’ is a fabulous variety with beautiful short, light green needles during spring and summer which turn deep gold during autumn and winter. A wonderfully compact form speading to 40cm tall, 60cm wide after 10 years. May be lightly clipped to maintain shape if required. Plant in free draining soil in a sunny. position. Excellent in mixed borders or planted amongst other coniferous varieties.
