Description
Skimmia japonica ‘Rubella’ is a much loved compact evergreen shrub with shiny deep green leaves, margined red. Fabulous deep pink-red buds appear late in the season and held over winter, giving some much needed colour, these burst into creamy white flowers during spring. This is an excellent plant suited to shady or semi-shaded positions. Plant in fertile free draining soil. Will reach up to 1m in height and spread and may be clipped as required.
