Description
A fabulous giant reed reaching up to around 5m in height and 3m in width. The leaves are bold and variegated – striped with deep green and cream. This is a low maintenance Mediterranean plant known to be vigorous, we recommend container planting or use of a 50cm root barrier when planting. Prefers a full sun sheltered position and is tolerant of most soils, keep moist. An excellent addition to exotic gardens, mixed grass borders or as a statement plant. Clip off any untidy shoots/stems during spring to make way for new shoots.
