Description

Carex trifida ‘Rekohu Sunrise’ is superb evergreen arching grass from New Zealand with broad deep green leaves edged with gold. Perfect for growing in dappled shade amongst frens and hostas. Carex trifida ‘Rekohu Sunrise’ looks stunning when planted under tree ferns too where it can form clumps up to 80cm high. During mid summer plumes of fluffy brownish flower heads are produced further adding to the effect. Hardy in all but the coldest spots enjoying fertile moisture retentive and dappled shade.
