Fuchsia paniculata

Description

Fuchsia paniculata is a stunning and tender evergreen variety reaching up to 2.5m in height.  The stems are burgundy-red with large zingy-green lance shaped leaves.  During the summer months large panicles of pretty little pink-lilac flowers appear creating a beautiful display.  Flowers are followed by small glossy purple berries.  This Fuchsia will not tolerate frosts, it may however be placed outside in a sheltered position during the summer months.  May be kept in a cool frost free conservatory or greenhouse over winter. Plant in fertile, moisture retentive compost.
