Description
Wodyetia bifurcata, sometimes known as the ‘Foxtail Palm’ is a stunning Australian native. Enjoyed here in the UK for the spectacular foliage and exotic appearance and despite being not particularly hardy, grown with great success in glasshouses, conservatories and on sheltered patios in the summer months. Forming a single trunk with a crown of wonderful ‘fronds’ clothed abundantly in leaflets shaped like fish-tails. The trunk of the plant is glaucous in colour.
